This Month I Read…September 2016

Did you notice the absence of book cover pictures?  Yeah, me too.  It’s because I didn’t read one dang book all month!  Can you say busy September? I had books lined up.   I got a new Blogging for Books book. Didn’t read it.  I had a book I was supposed to read with my friends.  I read like the first 5 pages the day I was supposed to have it done.  September was just filled with new jobs and new routines.  And, if I’m honest, season 3 of Blacklist showed up on Netflix so many of my evenings were filled up binge watching so I could watch season 4 when it started this fall. I seriously love James Spader in that show.

But, because sharing no books at all on a blog post about reading is kind of lame, I decided to share my Top 5 Favorite (at least what I would list as my favorite today).  If you haven’t read any of these books, stop what you are doing and figure out what you need to do to make it happen.

These five are in no particular order because there is no way I could rank them. And, I am not even going to try and give a synopsis because I wouldn’t do the books justice.  Just trust me and read these books if you haven’t yet.  I gave every single one of these 5 out of 5 stars.  Life changing books. If you need a little hint, you can find them all on Goodreads.

And I promise that I will have new books for October.  I am already half way through a book that has been on my to-read list for awhile and I am completely caught up on all my favorite shows so chances are I won’t have to dig back to find some more favorites.

  1. I agree – those five are all amazing! I’ll be interested in what you thought of TMG…I didn’t love it as much as I’ve loved everything else she wrote.
